About S.U.E.S.S.

S.U.E.S.S. was founded in January 2019 by Sherise Schlaht. Sherise graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 2018 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences, Majoring in Addictions Counselling. Prior to attending the University of Lethbridge, Sherise completed various courses through Grant MacEwan University, University of Athabasca, and Lethbridge College. Collectively, Sherise has worked in the health and human services sector for over ten years. Following post-secondary, Sherise's professional career has involved employment with non-profit organizations serving disenfranchised and street-involved individuals actively engaged in substance use. The experiences with these organizations and individuals were profoundly impactful and ignited Sherise's passion for highly innovative and individualized therapy. 

Since the development of S.U.E.S.S., Sherise completed a six month contract in partnership with the Government of Alberta and a First Nations community. Following this, she has worked with adults of various ages and personal/life circumstances in group and individual therapy settings.
